How We Met

It all began on a chilly afternoon in November 2015 on a meetup app wanting to find friends who shared similar interests. After a few days of friendly banter, we exchanged phone numbers, and from there, an amazing journey began.

The First Date

Our first official date was at a charming little restaurant in the Capitol Hill area of Seattle. We talked about our love for the outdoors and the things that excited us. After dinner, we headed to see a local band at a wonderful little dive bar. We spent the rest of the evening singing and dancing, and it felt like we had known each other forever. By the end of the night, we knew we had something special.

The Proposal

Fast forward to a memorable trip to Walt Disney World in October 2023. Dustin had planned the perfect proposal at a specific location in Epcot, but things didn't go as planned. When we arrived, we discovered the area was closed due to construction. Despite this setback, the magic wasn't over. As the day came to an end, we had dinner at a wonderful restaurant. Afterward, Dustin told Morgan he had gotten something special at the park earlier that day. Dustin reached into his backpack and handed Morgan a handmade card with a hiking boot on the front. The card said "FOREVER" and had a ring tied into the laces of the boot. After a few moments of shock, happy tears, and laughter, Morgan said a resounding "yes."

Our Adventures

Over the years, we’ve traveled to new places, tried countless new things, and supported each other through some very hard times. From backpacking through the Enchantments to trips to different countries, every moment has been an adventure we cherish deeply.

The Wedding

Now, we are thrilled to start this new chapter surrounded by our beloved family and friends. We can’t wait to celebrate our love story with you and create even more unforgettable memories.
